VESSELIN ARNAUDOV

As the director of the Advanced Development Center & IoT in Bulgaria, Vesselin Arnaudov is currently responsible for leading the incubation and research activities for VMware’s largest R&D site in EMEA, along with its focused efforts on the Internet of Things. The center functions as an internal incubator and hub for collaboration with the regional academic and start-up communities, as well as driving research projects into impactful and trending areas. He has spent the past ten years with the company and has held various positions in both engineering and leadership capacity. Prior to that, Vesselin has developed experience in software engineering and startups, including early explorations of distributed sensor networks in smart buildings. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Brown University and enjoys cooking, traveling, and his family.
